On Saturday November 14th 2015, I had the pleasure of attending a Jeter Promotions card featuring many up and coming pugilists. Among them, "Young General" Ian Green won his bout in impressive fashion with a first round knockout. While his opponent was nowhere near world quality, Ian showed impressive skills.
The "Young General" Ian Green improved his professional record to 7-0 with 5 KO's on Saturday September 26, 2015. Fighting on the H.I.T.M card in Beach Haven, NJ Green took on K Lon Spencer in the much anticipated "Boxing by the Beach" event. The "Young General" did not disappoint his loyal fans who flooded the venue wearing their red "Young General" T-shirts which were provided by PG Sports.
July marked the return to boxing action for the "Young General" Ian Green. After a busy start to his pro career where he won his first five fights Green took a short break in June to spend some well deserved time with his family. The tough veteran Lekan Byfield was all that stood in the way of Ian's pursuit to move to 6-0 at the Empire Casino and Racetrack in Yonkers, NY on July 29th.
Young General Ian Green scored an impressive unanimous decision in his forth professional fight at the Paramount Theater. His opponent Marlon Farr's strategy was clear from the opening bell. Farr kept his distance from the Young General's devastating punching power and he tied Green up at each and every opportunity. Green showed great poise and composure for such a young fighter.
