"Young General" Stops Undefeated Khiary Gray, Reports Kran Sports and Entertainment Management

Making his television debut before an enthusiastic crowd on the ShoBox telecast on July 22, 2016 Ian Green delivered a crushing right hand to the chin of his undefeated opponent in the second round. The fight was all but over at that point as Gray stumbled to his feet and tried to go on. The "Young General" jumped on Gray and the referee mercifully stopped the fight with just seconds remaining in round two. The crowd at the Foxwoods Resort was stunned and surprised. Green was not!

Never one to walk away from a challenge or pass up an opportunity Ian Green accepted the offer to fight Gray, a Connecticut native, just five days earlier and at a weight he has never fought at previously.  The "Young General" saw this moment as an opportunity to showcase his punching power and boxing talent on national television.  He seized the moment and delivered his most impressive victory to date.  Gray entered this bout with a perfect 13-0 record and he had never been knocked down before.  Ian Green changed that and sent the crowd favorite home wondering what happened.  The "Young General's" thunderous right hand is what happened.  With this victory Ian Green announced his presence with authority as one of the sports top prospects.

"I never doubt myself. I knew I was going to win that fight. I train so hard every day and even on just five days notice against a good fighter, I was ready. This was my time!"
